We have a strong passion for visual story telling and we love displaying peoples talents! Our goal is to capture, discover, display, and create beautiful things to share with the world!
Chad was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina and moved to Knoxville in the summer of 2011. He is the oldest of 4 kids and proud father to his beautiful daughter, Finnleigh. He discovered his love of filmmaking while on a mission trip to Romania in 2012 and has been hooked ever since. An entrepreneur at heart, Wild Heart Studios is a dream come true for Chad. His passion of filmmaking is rooted in visual storytelling and the ability to capture, discover, display, and create beautiful things. He will do whatever it takes to give you the video of your dreams.
Chad was the recipient of the 2014 ORNL Federal Credit Union Best Emerging Filmmaker Award at the Knoxville Film Festival for his short film, "DAISY".
"DAISY" was also a Official Selection of the 2014 Knoxville Horror Film Festival and the 2015 Comcast Xfinity Film Festival Collective.
"THE SON" was a Official Selection of the 2015 Knoxville Film Festival and the 2016 International Christian Film Festival and won the 3rd Place Best Narrative Short Award at the Knoxville Film Festival and was nominated for Best Short Film at the International Christian Film Festival.
"SPACE CADET" won the 7 Day Shootout Grand Prize, Best Film, Audience Favorite, Best Cinematography, Best Use of Music, and Best Lead Actress at the 2015 Knoxville Film Festival.
Chad is currently in production of his first feature film. It is set to premiere in August 2016.

Joe is the lead photographer at JoPhoto and a Director of Photography at Wild Heart Studios. He is the creative, visionary, and chief lighting guru at JoPhoto. Joe plays a key role in achieving our visual goals here at Wild Heart Studios. His creativity and knowledge of lighting is essential to our projects. Before JoPhoto, Joe worked at an advertising agency for 10 years. He directed, shot and edited over 200 local, regional, and national television commercials -- including working with 2 governors and a U.S. president along the way. Joe has produced award-winning results for advertising agencies, magazines, publishing companies, celebrities, non-profit organizations, and television.
Joe combines his advertising agency experience with his passion for photography through JoPhoto and Wild Heart Studios. His expertise with indoor and outdoor lighting, creativity, and “movie magic” as he calls it, adds the “wow” factor to your photos and videos.
Joe was the Director of Photography on all three of our award winning short films (DAISY, THE SON, SPACE CADET). He was also the winner of the Best Cinematography Award at the 2015 Knoxville Film Festival for his work on "SPACE CADET".
Film Composer/Music Arranger/Six String Electric Violinist
Travis was raised in Des Moines, Iowa and started playing violin classically at age seven. In middle school, he was exposed to jazz and began exploring the genre on violin. In high school, he attended the Jamey Abersold Jazz Workshops where he studied intensely with jazz educator David Baker and performer Sara Caswell. In 2009, his contemporary violin studies brought him to Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. There, he studied electric violin with Tracy Silverman, jazz with Billy Contreras, fiddle with Tammy King, and classical with Elisabeth Small and graduated in 2013. He has won several awards and competitions, including the title of Grand Champion in the Senior Division at the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) Eclectic Strings Festival in 2012.
Travis scored all three of our award winning short films (DAISY, THE SON, SPACE CADET). He was also the winner of Best Use of Music at the 2015 Knoxville Film Festival for his work on "SPACE CADET".
